Cottage, early C17. Brick-nogged timber frame, formerly thatched now has asbestos-cement slate roof. 2 storeys, 3-windows, 12-panel facade, 7-panel gable in small framing with passing braces. Added C20 lean-to and porch (west) supported by two timber posts and with tile roof. The porch contains an oak boarded door with false strap hinges. Flush casements with glazing bars. Gable barge boards, rebuilt central stack. At the rear (south) a large C20 wing completes a "T" shaped plan. Interior: Bevelled beams and exposed joist. Inglenook beam over fireplace with stone side cheeks. Timbers in original rear wall covered by new south wing. Bevelled purlins with wind braces.
