Summary

Grade II listed farmhouse. The farmhouse dates from the late seventeenth century, but is of early eighteenth century appearance. The building is largely constructed of red brick with timber-framing (1 & 2). Earliest reference to Haycroft is from Bryant's 1831 map of Cheshire (3 & 4).

Full Description

The farmhouse dates from the late seventeenth century, but is of early eighteenth century appearance. The building is largley constructed of red brick with two storeys and attic, three bays and double pile plan. The rear wing to north-east is partly red sandstone and partly timber-framed (1 & 2). Earliest reference to Haycroft is from Bryant's 1831 map of Cheshire (3 & 4). A well is depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1st Edition map (5).
