Summary
Grade II listed Pinfold (Livestock Pound) at a road junction. Built in the early 19th century. It is 3m square and 1m high and built of hammer dressed red sandstone rubble blocks. It has a chamfered top and stone posts to now missing gate. Pinfolds are animal enclosures for stray animals. The animals would only be released to their owners if they paid a fine.

Pinfold/Cattle Pound at road junction, early C19. 3m square and 1m high of four courses of hammer dressed red sandstone rubble blocks. Chamfered top and stone posts to now missing gate (1).
