Full Description
Flint Dagger was found in a ploughed field in 1962 (1). It is bifacially mottled grey flint, tip broken, notched at the base of the blade and probably of Beaker type(2). Daggers of this type tend to be concentrated in South and East Britain and are relatively rare in the North of England; this is the only example from Cheshire (4).
