Full Description
A watching brief was carried out ahead of housing construction, following the completion of the Middlewich bypass. One timber beam slot (115) associated, with one potsherd of 13th/14th century, was recorded suggesting the presence of a building. Remains of another timber framed building was recorded in the form of traces of a sill beam (133) and posthole (135), but with no dating evidence, about 42m to the east of 115. (1)
