Steps of a possible Saxon or later Cross formerly stood in front of Great Moreton Hall. Removed in 1800.

"In front of the house (CHER 131/2/1), near the road side, were the steps of an antient cross, which much resembled in appearance those which are described in the account of Lymme.' These were removed about the year 1806."
