Full Description
In 1914, two Samian ware vessels, both with potters marks, were found in Delamere Street (1). In the 1983, work in the same area, at 'James Edwards Garage' produced Roman pottery from the disturbed surface area of the site, consisting of roofing tile, second century local grey ware jar, coarse local orange ware and one fourth century Severn Valley ware jar rim (2).
