Full Description
A small lead plate approximately 6cm in length and 3.81cm in width was recovered from Grey Friars Street in around 1876. It appears to have been substantially flattened and is about 1.5mm thick. It is crudely inscribed COH.I > ATTII ANTONI on both sides. Its purpose was uncertain but it may have been a tessera or pass (1)
