Full Description
Six coins, possibly a small hoard, found in a small metal container in Pepper Street in 1916. Includes one coin of Constantine I with reverse legend GLORIA EXERCITVS, and one of Valens with reverse legend SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE. Presented to the Grosvenor Museum (1). There is no further information on the nature of this discovery, and the monument's GIS point has been placed in the centre of the street.
