Full Description
Cross and Stepped Base east of path to south porch of Church of St John the Baptist. Base of four steps is probably medieval, the cross is modern, 1901. Red sandstone. Base carries a restored plinth on which the cross stands. Shaft of cross has two brass plaques, recording dedication to Hugh Lupus, Duke of Westminster (1). Total height 0.8m. Lower step has sides of 3.6m (2).
