Full Description
Following the demolition of a block of houses then known as Bolland’s Court, an area now occupied by Ebury Place, the land was brought under cultivation and somewhat investigated by an unnamed individual who happened to be interested in antiquities (1). Because of this, a number of fragments of Roman pottery and a complete bronze fibula were recovered from a series of small exploration cuts made by the farmer, and were brought to the Grosvenor Museum (1).
