Full Description

A lamp was found west of Frodsham St. or Cow Lane in 1901, during the construction of a cellar for new premises on the west side of the street, opposite what was then a new public house. The lamp was found by workmen and is 3.25 inches long (1). The exact location of the findspot is unknown, and the monuments GIS point is placed at the centre of Frodsham St., along its west edge.
