Monument record 16056 - Ridge and Furrow Earthworks South of Lower Farm

Medieval / post-medieval ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and historic vertical photography in the parish of Manley, centred at SJ 509 722. Elements appear to be extant on the latest 2016 vertical photography. See (2)-(4).

A block of regular ridge and furrow aligned north-south. Approximately six to seven metres wide from ridge to ridge. Probably post medieval in date. Once part of a more extensive area.
