Full Description
<1> Old Hall Barns, Mobberley, Cheshire: an Appraisal of their Archaitectural and Historical Significance (Client Report). SCH5253.
The Small Barn is probably the building shown on the 1838 Tithe map and it was probably built shortly before that date as a stable and cow house. Its eastern end appears to incorporate some brickwork from an earlier building on the site, and a lean-to against its south wall was probably demolished at the end of the 19th century.
