Full Description
<1> Longley D, 1977-1978, Longley Archive, No.197 (Paper Archive). SCH2005.
Local tradition refers to a stone circle. At this location there are at least six large stones forming a part-circle. However, there is a quarry above the site and various other large stones scattered about the field. Probably natural outcrops.
