Cottage, mid nineteenth century, of concrete cast in imitation of ornate timber frame. Grey slate gabled roof with flush gable chimneys, each with two diagonal flues. Shaped bargeboards. Symmetrical It storeys, with gabled dormer over entrance. The simulated timber frame stands proud of the white-painted panels which are round-topped. Gothick windows of wood; gothick door of three painted vertical panels. Late twentieth century extension at rear is not prominent. The cottage is shown on the Ordnance Survey first edition 6 inch to 1 mile map, surveyed 1873 (see 2).
