Ollerton Hall, School Lane, Ollerton. Grade II Listed. Two Houses. Originally one house. Dated on datestone T P H 1728. Rendered brick with slate roof. Two storeys, E shaped plan. Entrance front: Five bays in A.B.C.B.A. rhythm. Central projecting gabled wing with pointed door arch to ground floor with C20 glazed door. Sash window to first floor of 3 x 4 panes with exposed sash boxes. Square datestone to gable. To either side are three-light casement windows at ground floor level with central casements. First floor windows above these of 4 x 4 sash panes with exposed sash boxes. Projecting gabled wings to sides have ground floor sash windows of 5 x 4 panes. Left hand wing has two-light casement window of 4 x 5 panes, that to right has 4 x 4 sash panes. Recessed Cl9 addition to left of 2 bays and similar addition to right with door at ground floor level to left. Rear: Early C19 bow window to left. Central portion has later C19 or C20 additions at ground floor level and 3 early C18 two-light casement windows to first floor. Interior: Stop-chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor rooms. Open well early C18 staircase with quarter-turn winders and having turned balusters, moulded hand rail and newels with ovolo mouldings to corners. Four early C18 panelled doors to first floor landing.

A heritage assessment was produced in 2019 in support of an application for listed building consent in relation to a proposed single storey extentsion, internal repair, refurbishment and landscaping works at Ollerton Hall, Ollerton, Cheshire. Ollerton Hall is a grade II listed building. Ollerton Hall is of historic and architectural significance as a high status multi-phase house.The dwelling is characterised and defined by legible phases of development and change, each of which contributes to the significance of the building. Each phase of extension and change illustrates the style and character of architecture of the relevant period and results in the Hall having a highly distinctive and individual character.
