Description
A heritage assessment was produced in 2019 in support of an application for listed building consent in relation to a proposed single storey extentsion, internal repair, refurbishment and landscaping works at Ollerton Hall, Ollerton, Cheshire. Ollerton Hall is a grade II listed building. Ollerton Hall is of historic and architectural significance as a high status multi-phase house.The dwelling is characterised and defined by legible phases of development and change, each of which contributes to the significance of the building. Each phase of extension and change illustrates the style and character of architecture of the relevant period and results in the Hall having a highly distinctive and individual character. (1)
