Monument record 11390/2 - Linear Earthwork East of Duke's Drive

A north-east to south-west aligned earthwork. The earthwork comprises what appears to be a wide bank. It appears to be overlain by the ridge and furrow earthworks in this area.

A north-east to south-west aligned earthwork. The earthwork comprises what appears to be a wide bank c.10m wide. The bank is visible for c.165m. It appears to be overlain by the ridge and furrow earthworks in this area.

There is no evidence for the continuation of this earthwork to the north-east or south-west. Furthermore, this feature shows no continuity with either the enclosed field system depicted on the tithe map (see 4) or the earlier medieval field-system preserved in the later ridge and furrow (see CHER 11211/1).
