The chapel has been converted to two houses.

The chapel was built in the late nineteenth century, though the fund raising for the building took place over a period of sixty years. John Wesley reputedly preached here. The chapel was also used as the local library during the 1950s and 1960s. The church was closed in 1982.

The chapel was built in 1897 to replace an earlier chapel (opened in 1830). The chapel building was also used as a day school, Kerridge Infants' Wesleyan School, until 1924. The chapel closed in 1982.
