Summary

Mill Lane Cottages was once the farmhouse which formed part of a farmstead comprising a large (almost) H shaped range of buildings to the immediate east and three smaller buildings to the north of the farmhouse. These buildings were progressively demolished in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

This map depicts a farmstead at this location comprising a house, a large (almost) H shaped range of buildings to the immediate east and three smaller buildings to the north. It is labelled on the map as Grange Green and is described as 'house, outbuildings and yards'.

The larger of the three buildings at the northern end of the farmstead, an almost T shaped range, has been demolished.

The majority of the buildings at the northern end of the farmstead have been demolished. Part of the larger farm building has also been demolished.

The large farmbuilding has been demolished and has been replaced by a Dutch barn. The gardens to the immediate west of the farmhouse suggest that the house has been sub-divided.
