Possible lynchets on Eddisbury Hill, to the north-east of Eddisbury Hillfort, are visible on (1).

It is clear from RAF aerial photographs dating from 1947 (see 3), that the two north-east to south-west orientated earthworks visible on 1987/E/5A (see 1) are former watercourses.
