Full Description

<1> Ordnance Survey, 1871-1882, Ordnance Survey County Series (Epoch 1) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ6076, 1877 (Maps and Plans). SCH2462.

This map depicts a brick and tile works comprising two buildings located within the workings. Two circular features, possibly kilns, are also visible.

The workings have expanded to the south and a new building has been constructed. There are also a circular building and a square building which may be kilns.

The workings have expanded to the south and east. Only the largest building shown on the earlier maps is still extant. The site isn't labelled as a works.

No buildings appear extant and the site appears grassed over, except for some trees where many of the buildings were once located.
