The farmstead is depicted on this map, but not named.

The place-name is first mentioned on the tithe map and award (see 3).

This map depicts three adjoining buildings and a small number of outbuildings and small enclosures. The plot is sub-divided into two parts, both described as house, outhouse(s) and moiety of the fold. They are occupied by James Cundiff and Francis Hooley.
