Full Description
<1> The GeoInformation Group, 2005, 1940s RAF Aerial Photographs from Operation Review (Aerial Photograph). SCH4608.
A linear earthwork, a possible hollow way, is visible to the immediate south of the River Weaver at Wrenbury. The feature is orientated north-east to south-west and is approximately 120m long.

The LIDAR data suggests this comprises two parallel incised earthworks on the low valley's side.

These features lie where the projected lines, from two probable sections of the Roman road between Whitchurch and Nantwich, meet.
