Summary

A possible hollow way on the southern side of the low valley containing the River Weaver. This coincides with the point at which the projected lines, from two known sections of the Roman road between Whitchurch and Nantwich, meet.

Full Description

A linear earthwork, a possible hollow way, is visible to the immediate south of the River Weaver at Wrenbury. The feature is orientated north-east to south-west and is approximately 120m long.

The LIDAR data suggests this comprises two parallel incised earthworks on the low valley's side.
