SJ 3890 6928: Earthworks of potential crofts and ridge and furrow identified in 1991 to the south and east of Mollington Grange as part of an archaeological assessment in advance of the development of a golf course. The earthworks were mostly ridge and furrow, headlands and farm tracks, surviving in places to a height of a metre or more; the field had not been ploughed in living memory. Some of the earthworks closer to the farm buildings were more obscure and were thought possibly to represent the remains of crofts (two are indicated in the 1837 Tithe Award).
