Monument record 7806 - Ridge and Furrow earthworks to the east of Sandbach Mill

Archaeological assessment undertaken in 1993 in advance of the A534 Wheelock Bypass identified a block of medieval ridge and furrow earthworks on air photographs dating to 1973 and 1992, to the east of Sandbach Mill. A field visit demonstrated these earthworks to be still upstanding.
