Summary

The site of a small farmstead or dwelling established on the edge of the common known as Welchman's Green. It is possible that this is the Welchmonis Yarden mentioned in a seventeenth century document.

There are some small square shaped earthworks visible on Environment Agency LiDAR.

Small field free of ridge and furrow earthworks shows a square earthwork which seems to be associated with a small enclosure. Within this enclosure is a small slight rectangular earthwork. To the immediate north is a curving ditch, which to the north-west looks to flank a trackway.
