Small field free of ridge and furrow earthworks shows a square earthwork which seems to be associated with a small enclosure. Within this enclosure is a small slight rectangular earthwork. To the immediate north is a curving ditch, which to the north-west looks to flank a trackway.

A document from 1637 mentions a Welchmonis yarden (half an acre enclosed from the commons).

It's possible that this is the site of a small farmstead established on the common.
