Processed LIDAR survey data indicates a much more sunstantial feature than suggested by the previous sources. The western and northern enclosure ditch is in excess of 10 metres wide, though shallow at 0.5 metres deep. The southern possible ditch is visible, but less clearly apparent, the survey data shows a marked difference in height through between the interior and exterior of the enclosure of around 0.3 to 0.6 metres. Eastern possible ditch is wide and shallow, but incorporates the marked difference in height between the interior and exterior seen on the southern side. Possible moat?
