Monument record 7057/4 - Site of Lodge to Abbeyfield House

A lodge is marked on the south side of the west end of the drive from Abbeyfields to Abbey Road on the first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1874. The lodge was still extant in the 1960s, but on the 1976 Ordnance Survey mapping it is not shown, and an south-east/north-west aligned road, named ‘Lodge Road’, stood in its place.
