Description
Desk-based assessment of land to the south of Middlewich Road and east of Abbey Road, Sandbach identified the possible line of a roman road, the site of a building on early mapping of the site, and a series of former field boundaries. Recommendations were made for a programme of trial trenching across the site in order to establish the need for further archaeological mitgation
