Full Description
Archaeological investigations at Frodsham Street in 1966 included the excavation of seven trenches to the rear of the street frontage. Although the results of the investigation have never been published in full the archive records the discovery of a number of medieval and post medieval features.

Trench 2 excavated close to the medieval City Walls encountered evidence of deposits containing 16th and 17th century material, however they are not discussed in any further detail.
