Full Description
Archaeological investigations carried out over a period of years between 1994 and 2000 in the garden of 67 Eaton Rd., Trench IV, resulted in the discovery of disarticulated human remains consisting of the leg bones of two individuals, plus one arm and isolated fragments. The excavators suggested that a pit dug in medieval times disturbed earlier features containing these remains, therefore suggested that they may be of Saxon period date (1).
