Summary

A small collection of Roman finds discovered on the north side of Pierpoint Lane in 1897 and subsequently in the possession of F H Williams. The finds included a largely intact imitation samian cup of a possible late first to early second century date. The fabric appears to be locally produced Holt ware and a gold finger ring incised with a crudely drawn insect of a possible first century date.

A small collection of Roman finds discovered on the north side of Pierpoint Lane in 1897 and subsequently in the possession of F H Williams.
