Full Description
12 St John St. is a Grade II listed building that while currently in use as a showroom, was formerly a workshop. It is of two storeys with an attic and is of hard red brick with terracotta dressings. In the cellar, part of the Roman fortress wall is visible and was incorporated into the fabric of the present building. Unusually therefore, the listed building record (see linked record) includes reference to the Roman wall (1).
