Building record 7131 - Primitive Methodist Chapel in Dodleston

This is a Primitive Methodist Chapel that opened in 1854 in the village of Dodleston; the chapel was closed by 1933 (1). The Chapel is currently being utilized as a Post Office and has been extended (2).

First edition OS Map of 1874 shows a Methodist Chapel (Primitive) at this location (3). This continues to appear on later OS Mapping of 1898-189 (4) and 1911 (5).
