Summary
Roman road - Chester to Wirral. South of Oak Farm, a bank and ditch may be seen in the field some yards east of Scotchman's Lane. They continue to join the line of old oaks which Margary takes to be on the line of the Roman road.
Roman road - Chester to Wirral. A slight suspicion of a ridge may be seen in a field at SJ 351 759. Possibly part of Roman road alignment.

Full Description
Roman road - Chester to Wirral. South of Oak Farm, a bank and ditch may be seen in the field some yards east of Scotchman's Lane. They continue to join the line of old oaks which Margary takes to be on the line of the Roman road (1).
