Type and Period (1)
Full Description
The large pool is silted up. It fed the wheel through a culvert along the bank (1).
The mill pond is depicted on the 1838 tithe, and later, maps (2 & 3).
There is no evidence to indicate if the pond was associated with the earlier medieval mill, though this cannot, as yet, be discounted (4).
