Summary
Archaeological investigations at Boughton Hall in 2007 uncovered evidence of medieval activity in the area, largely confined to agricultural practices.
The evidence consisted of a single pit, possibly a dew pond, in the south west part of the excavated area containing small quantities of animal bone and a single sherd of green glaze medieval pottery.
