Full Description
One of the few features of Chester Castle that cannot be ascribed to either of the major periods of architectural development there, from the thirteenth to fifteenth centuries, and then during the nineteenth century under Harrison's development, is a well house located in the centre of the outer bailey, that is thought to date to the sixteenth century.
