Summary

No 4 Duke Street consists of a 17th century town house, much altered in the 18th and 20th centuries. It is of brown Flemish bond brick to the front with a grey slate roof with a ridge parallel with the street. The building is three storeys with a cellar, doubled fronted with two windows to each storey. The brick cellar is rock cut with some close studding in the east wall.
