Summary

No 20-22 Castle Street consists of two wide frontage town houses of a mid to late 18th century date and now part of the Grosvenor Museum. The exterior is of brown Flemish bond brick and English bond older brick to the rear, the roof is grey slate with a ridge at right angles to the road. They are three storeys high and each of three bays width. There is evidence of earlier construction with a band of 17th century brickwork in the in the first floor. The interior has been much altered for use as offices for the museum.

No 20-22 Castle Street consists of two wide frontage town houses of a mid to late 18th century date and now part of the Grosvenor Museum.
