Full Description
No 18 Eastgate Street is a stone undercroft, currently in use as a shop, largely rebuilt in the late 19th century.
The interior floor level is substantially below that of the street level with a total of 9 steps down into the undercroft. The front facade of the undercroft is entirely modern while the interior is plastered. No further opportunity to inspect the fabric of the building was available. (1)
