Full Description
No 25 Eastgate Street is a brick undercroft, currently in use as a shop, built in 1861 by T.A. Richardson for Dutton and Miller, grocers. It was built on the site of a former undercroft and town house.
The street level shop includes a flight of 12 stone steps to Row level and a modern shopfront. The interior is entirely covered and inspection was impossible during the Rows Research Project. (1)
