Full Description
During archaeological excavations at 33 Lower Bridge St. in 1991, residual late Saxon pottery was recovered from a medieval pit fill (1). The pottery is not described, but its presence indicates some kind of Saxon presence that was subsequently disturbed by medieval activity (1).
