Monument record 10281 - post medieval pit at Northgate Street

Archaeological investigations in Northgate Street identified traces of a pit feature containing post medieval finds. The pit was recorded at a depth of 0.30m below the present ground surface and contained fragments of black glazed multi handled cups and several clay tobacco pipes of a late 17th century date. (1)
