Full Description
Archaeological investigations at St Olave Street in 2000 identified several features of possible medieval date that may indicate the presence of a structure in the area. The evidence consists of a clay layer [context 6] in trench 1 that may have been the remains of a floor surface, in addition two possible pits and a layer [context 33] containing several fragments of medieval pottery (1)
