Full Description
Rapid archaeological investigations at 29 Foregate Street in 1995 identified a series of medieval and post medieval deposits, however time and health and safety constraints limited the extent to which these features could be identified.
Medieval deposits were limited to finds of pottery and a quantity of medieval stonework reused in a post medieval pit. (1)
