Full Description
Several medieval rubbish pits and a cultivation soil were excavated during archaeological investigations at 33 Lower Bridge Street in 1991. The excavations, carried out to the rear of the plot several phases of medieval activity beginning in the late 12th-13th century when a series of domestic rubbish pits were cut followed by a probable garden soil in the 13th-14th century.
