Summary
A small quantity of medieval pottery was recovered from trench 2 during archaeological investigations at 9-13 Northgate Street. The site had been previously redeveloped in the late 19th century causing significant modern intrusion into the below ground archaeological evidence. In consequence, the excavated trenches showed a high degree of disturbance.

A small quantity of medieval pottery was recovered from trench 2 during archaeological investigations at 9-13 Northgate Street. The site had been previously redeveloped in the late 19th century causing significant modern intrusion into the below ground archaeological evidence.
